Following a full time career, Jim has now settled in to a challenging and exciting role as club professional at Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club.
As a player, his successes include:
- 1992 Rookie of the year European Tour
- 1993 Winner, Turespana Open de Baleares
- 1996 Winner, Italian Open
- 1996 World Cup of Golf (representing England)

| Jim played in four Open Championships and as an amateur, won the European Amateur and the British Youths Championships. He has played some of the best courses with most of the world's top players, learning things from them all. These tips are all passed on in his tuition programmes. |

As of 1st January 2003, lesson charges will be £20 for 40 minutes. Lesson vouchers may be purchased up to that date at £16 or 3 for £45 but must be used by 1st June 2003.

A course of lessons may be beneficial - eg.
- Lesson 1: Swing - General Technique
- Lesson 2: Short Game - Chipping, putting and bunkers.
- Lesson 3: Swing - Longer Irons and Driving
At various times of the year, we will run group coaching sessions over four to six weeks for:
- absolute beginners
- ladies only
- seniors only
- short game clinics
